If I am chosen as a ghostwriter, do I need to provide my own plots or story lines?
This depends. Some of our writers like to come up with their own plot and then submit them to us for approval. Others like to work with us or like to be given the entire story and they run with it. So, this really depends on how comfortable you are with your own creativity.
How many books do I have to commit to?
We don’t sign any writers who cannot commit to at least two stories a month. While at times we do short stories our ideal length are novellas of around 15,000+ words each. If this is something you cannot commit to please don’t bother to apply.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes you have to sign our writers agreement as well as a confidentiality agreement.
Do I have to edit my own stories?
Our editing team does all the final editing. However, we expect our writers to give their stories a good once over after writing is complete. There shouldn’t be any major or consistent errors when turned in.
How do you handle royalties and/or payments?
There are no royalties for work submitted. Payments are made on a per book or monthly basis depending on the terms work out in our writer agreement.
Who owns the final copyrights?
Arrabella Publishing retains all copyrights.
Will I have any credit on or in the books/stories.
This is handled on a case-by-case basis.
